Welcome to my website, that is, if you are a first time visitor.

This is a platform in which I share quite a lot of information about my books.

I have published three, so far, and there are three more are on the way.

While you are here, you can read a few posts which will give you an insight into the ideas behind the stories or you can even read snippets of some chapters or three entire chapters from each book.

These stories revolve around two teenagers from another galaxy…the Khavala…and even though it is a fictitious galaxy, it is not unlike our own.

The two main characters in these books, Addric and Dheago are the stars of the show. They start out as regular teenagers…but end up as Yumi Masters of the Third Order…a few years later. I have provided an explanation of just what this means in a post called The Memoirs of a Yumi Master.

Addric features prominently…because he is the narrator and author of his memoirs. Dheago is his best friend…and his adopted brother.

Dheago is in the background, most of the time…but he usually acts as a foil…which means he is there to keep Addric under control…but that does not always work out as Addric has a mind of his own.

Their lives change in a big way on the day that they head off on their first real holiday and then, after that…they discover who they really are.

In book one…The Labyrinth of Fire they get a lot more than a taste of what this means and have an amazing adventure as well.

In book two…The Citadel of Fire…they get the opportunity to go where no teenager has ever been before…and in the process…they discover a few more interesting things about themselves.

In book three…The Sanctuary of Fire…Addric’s dream to visit Planet Earth becomes a reality…but as is the way of stories…nothing works out the way he planned it…

But he does get to have an amazing adventure in one of the long lost civilisations of Earth…and for those who are interested…it a love story as well.

I am an Australian and currently live in a major tourist city in North Queensland.

After I graduated from high school I jumped on a plane and headed off to the big smoke to continue my studies.

I have lived in various places and have travelled overseas several times. I have seen some of this wonderful planet but not all of it…just yet…but I do plan on seeing a lot more.

I was not always a writer…I used to work in the visual arts in one form or another for many years…

I did not start writing until 2000, after a very strange period when my life turned inside out.

I had lost the urge to paint, but I did have a computer and soon discovered that it offered numerous opportunities to be creative and as a result, I started writing.

My stories are ostensibly for young adult readers… but…and this is the truth…they are for anyone at all…especially those who are still young at heart.

People from all over the world are discovering this website and are genuinely impressed with what they are reading…and they usually have something interesting to say.

I was hoping that would happen. It gives me even more of a reason to continue writing and exploring the world of possibilities that it offers.

I love writing these stories and hope to do so for a long time to come.
